Final line-up for archery competition at the 2025 World Games

The final list of archers who will compete at the Chengdu 2025 World Games beginning 7 August has been released.
Compound archers will compete in 50-metre target archery events at the World Games, while barebow and recurve archers compete in field archery events.
There were a total of 100 places for athletes available: 52 compound places split equally between men and women, and 12 each for recurve men, recurve women, barebow men and barebow women. These numbers were the same for the Birmingham 2022 World Games.
Eleven nations will compete in a compound mixed team event.
Two spots awarded to the USA, one each in recurve women and barebow women were returned shortly before the competition, and Colombia’s Sara Lopez was forced to withdraw at the last minute. These spots will not be reassigned, so a total of 97 athletes will compete.
The host nation receives spots by right, other nations had to win quota places for the event at qualifying events. These included continental championships and the Lac La Biche 2024 World Archery Field Championships. Other places were added via the world ranking list.
The USA’s Matt Stutzman and Türkiye’s Oznur Cure Girdi gained spots for winning the individual compound titles at the Paralympics in Paris. As Matt Stutzman is now retired, the spot was passed to the fourth placed athlete in Paris, Rakesh Kumar of India – as the second and third placed athletes, from China, had already received spots as hosts.
