28 November 2014 - Italy and France

The archer Graziano TROIANI (ITA) has been sanctioned by the Italian Anti-Doping Organization, as follows:

  • Disqualification of individual and team results obtained on 17 April 2014, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes
  • 1 month suspension starting on 17 April 2014
  • 325 EUR fine
  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code, Art.2.1: Presence of a prohibited substance (Hydrochlorothiazide), its metabolites or its markers in an athlete’s sample

The archer Didier PASQUIER (FRA) has been sanctioned by the French Federation, as follows:

  • Disqualification of individual and team results obtained on 15 February 2014, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes
  • Reprimand
  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code, Art.2.1: Presence of a prohibited substance (Indapamide), its metabolites or its markers in an athlete’s sample

  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code, Art.2.1: Presence of a prohibited substance (Atenolol), its metabolites or its markers in an athlete’s sample

The archer Gugliemo VIDALE (ITA) has been sanctioned by the by the Italian Anti-Doping Organization, as follows:

  • Reprimand
  • 325 EUR fine
  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code, Art.2.1: Presence of a prohibited substance (Hydrochlorothiazide), its metabolites or its markers in an athlete’s sample

The Athlete, Mr Hamzeh NEKOEEI, Iran, Archer:

(i)      has committed an anti-doping rule violation pursuant to Article 35.3.1 of the Anti-Doping Rules of World Archery
(ii)      is sanctioned with a period of ineligibility of two years in accordance with Article 35.11.1 of the Anti-Doping Rules of World Archery, commencing as of the date of the provisional suspension on 17 February 2014;
(ii)      shall have all competitive results achieved at the 18th Asian Archery Championships in Taipei between 29 October 2013 and 2 November 2013 disqualified;
(iv)     shall have any competitive results obtained by him individually or by any team in which he was a member from the date of his positive sample on 1 November 2013 until the date of his provisional suspension retroactively forfeited.

The archer Mrs Poungphet CHAITONGRAT (THA) has been sanctioned by the by the Thailand Anti-Doping Organization, as follows:

  • Disqualification of individual and team results obtained on 16 January 2013, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes
  • 2 years suspension starting on 16 January 2013
  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code, Art.2.1: Presence of a prohibited substance (danazol), its metabolites or its markers in an athlete’s sample

The athletes Mr Jérémy LOCQUE, Mr Goran NIKOLIC and Mr Didier VIDECOQ (FRA) have been sanctioned by the National Disciplinary and Antidoping Commission of the French Archery Federation, as follows:

  • Mr NIKOLIC and Mr VIDECOQ: a period of 3 years ineligibility, commencing as of 6 February 2012
  • Mr LOCQUE: a period of 2 years ineligibility, commencing as of 6 February 2012
  • The disqualification of the scores obtained by the athletes on 27 November 2011 in the 2 x 18m Indoor Archery contest in Beauvais.
  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code: Art.2.3: Refusing to submit to sample collection

On 27 October 2011, the athlete Mr Didier NORY (FRA) has been sanctioned by the College of the French National Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD), as follows:

  • A reprimand
  • The disqualification of the individual results obtained by the athlete on 12 February 2011 in the Picardy Indoor Regional Championship, including forfeiture of all medals, points and prizes
  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code: Art.2.1: Presence of a Prohibited Substance (Alcohol (ethanol) - P1. Substances prohibited in particular sports)
This renders void the decision of the first instance anti-doping disciplinary body of the French Archery Federation of 11 June 2011, to acquit.
