The first ever World Cup on South American soil was of a very high standard. A live stream was made available during the whole qualification and elimination rounds in our webpage, in cooperation with the Colombian Archery Federation, while the finals were live broadcasted on Teleantioquia.

Chinese DAI Xiaoxiang (recurve) and Colombian Alejandra USQUIANO (compound) won their first individual gold medal. Russian Inna STEPANOVA made her big return in the recurve division and won her second gold after the one obtained in Shanghai in 2011.

The Mexican recurve men team also won a first historic gold medal, while the Indian recurve women team took the most precious medal for the first time since 2011. Finally, the French compound team had to wait 5 years to win a gold medal again.

The next stage will visit the city of Wroclaw from 19-25 August for the first ever World Cup in Poland. This will be the last stage of the season before the Paris Finals in September.
