The favourites from Korea and the USA were strongly challenged by China, Mexico and Ukraine, but also from the surprising Colombia and Denmark. It was broadcasted live on channels such as TRT Turkey and SBS Korea.

Since the beginning of this World Cup season, World Archery is proposing two 26-minute highlights per event in order to strongly showcase the two divisions competing: the recurve and the compound bows. While the recurve division has been traditionally appearing at the Olympic Games, the new 50-metre competition format for compound will appear for the first time at the upcoming World Games in Cali, Colombia, in July. Cali will also feature a field archery competition.
Shortly before the World Games, the Archery World Cup will visit Colombia for the first time. Stage 3 will take place in Medellin on 15-21 July.
